The Underground Brawler

Character 2, Bridget 'The Underground Brawler'. A fanatic for boxing, Bridget joins into the augmented boxing leagues of the city outskirts, with help from her best friend Gideon in designing a pair of hulking grappler gauntlets. Though she is the embodiment of the 'fighting spirit', she is a notorious 'short fuse', snapping from her usual persona into a fired up hot head in a moments notice.

Bridget's character and design is inspired by characters such as Rocky Balboa in film, and characters within the Punch Out series for their distinctive designs. For reference I researched official fitness wear you would find in professional boxing, wrestling and mixed martial arts, whilst also looking at the gritty street look of bare-knuckled brawling. The colour palette is very red heavy as this makes for a very punchy colour, and is a typical colour in sports. With this I've been careful to space out its use by adding areas of white and other accent colours.
